My Background

My Inspiration .... daily life

My Background

  • There was never any question in my mind about what I wanted to do in life  from the moment I could hold a crayon. I became an art teacher, and later started a business painting murals in restaurants, kids rooms,  permanent window displays. I hand painted leather and suede dresses for a series of designers, , and developed a line of hand painted jackets for women, that were sold all over the country.  Now I simply paint commissions, or create just for me. Art has always been my passion.

My Inspiration .... daily life

  • My work reflects the every day ordinary experience of a moment in time in daily life. I try to capture other people's passions, their work ethic, or even  a private solitary  moment living  their life. . I want to allow the viewer to step into another's world,  and interpret what they see , reflecting  personally on the activity at hand. We are all so different. I interpret from the outside looking in, as we all do. It's up to the viewer to decide if a connection is made. Our unique experiences and interests are what makes us human.
